The Dückerscher Hof was built as a noble seat in the 17th century, although in the years that followed its use changed frequently.

TheDückersche Hof, built by the electoral head waiter Hermann Dücker (1591–1670), from 1701 a manor of Kloster Wedinghausen monastery; after the town fire of 1709 the regional diet also met here in 1721. From 1856 onwards, the building was used as a hospital, a women’s clinic, and then until 1976 as an old people’s home, until the Dückersche Hof was converted for residential purposes in the 1980s.
