Über den Einstieg am Sportplatz und die Zubringerloipe gelangt der Langkäufer hinter der Eisenbahnlinie zum Rundkurs um den Mühlenberg. Durch die Vielzahl der angegebenen Möglichkeiten kann der Skilangläufer die Strecke aus Loipe Mühlenberg 1 und 2 je nach Kondition zusammensetzen. Leichte bis mittelschwere Auf- und Abpassagen prägen das individuelle Streckenprofil. Der äußere Ring der Loipe Mühlenberg verläuft entlang der 600-m-Höhenlinie.
