Natürlich müssen Rennradfahrer beim Biggesee-“Triathlon“ keinen wirklichen Dreikampf aus Schwimmen, Laufen und Rad fahren absolvieren. Vielmehr steht die überwiegend leichte Runde unter dem Motto „Wasser sehen, Rennrad fahren und laufen lassen“. So geht es vom Start am Strandbad Waldenburg zunächst viele Kilometer über den bestens fahrbaren Biggerandweg, immer den Biggesee im Blick. Nach der Ortsdurchfahrt von Olpe warten dann die einzigen längeren Anstiege auf der Tour. Danach kann man es in der Abfahrten richtig laufen lassen, und nach der Überfahrt bei der Einsiedelei von Apollmicke geht‘s abfallend und flach weiter – zurück zum Ausgangspunkt am Strandbad.
